What is a Mini VGA port and a FireWire Port? HELP ME, IT'S URGENT!!?
hey, does anyone know what a mini VGA port is and a FireWire Port? i need to know what they are because it counts 45% of my grade and i don't want to fail. so please help me. it's urgent!
Think of them both as places to plug something in on a device. The big difference is that Firewire can send power to the device it is plugging into. VGA is that big ugly plug on the back of the computer that sends video signal to the monitor screen. A Mini-VGA is very literally a smaller version of this. Firewire CAN send video signal and many camcorders use this, but Firewire is also used for a multitude of other things such as sending digital sound into a computer for audio recording or sending information from an external hard drive right on to your computer.
