It was my first full CMOS Canon DSLR camera. Before I had the owner and operator of the Canon 40D, Canon 30D Canon Rebel XTi i. I am a wedding photographer and, above all sports, so I have been able to test the Canon 5D Mark II under both conditions.

I used it for basketball with AI Servo Focus Center Point, but went to the custom settings and enabled support AF dots. It worked like a dream, focusing quickly and accurately than ever, my 40D. While there, the FPS are not ideal for sports, if you can lock on focus as from the beginning, it can still achieve amazing sports pictures. Plus the fact that I was able to shoot at ISO 4000 and no noticeable noise just incredible. Auto-white photos of a balanced correctly for that I usually shoot in the arena is not what is happening on my 40D.

My first wedding I would say the whole day was a wow. I was getting light pictures I never would have dreamed of before. The new screen is also very easy to determine whether something is in focus or not. When can I switch between my 40D and 5D2 learned how bad that screen not me, the 40D screen looked terrible to me now, when I thought I had a great screen. I sure was wrong! 920,000 pixels is definitely to be done on the LCD. And above all, images from the center point (one shot) for my focus and concentrate nailed every time. And do not mix with manual, aperture priority, and a program (program mainly for Formals)

What else I love about it? With 98% of the viewfinder is amazing. I like be able to use a UDMA card ...

Video! Although I am not a video / nature of the request of a person, I prefer pictures, I have been testing video quite a bit. At Christmas I took some short clips of my nephew and was really happy with how they look. It's very nice to be able to take high-definition video on a little child, and the awesome impact on a wide aperture to blur in the background. The only downside is that files are huge. My one minute clip was over 300MB, but it's what I'm shooting for in 1080!

Use the battery for this camera really deal in a moment. Once my battery with a handle at the wedding, and two batteries after going over 500 photos (maybe close to 600 photos of the day?) Even by 72% for each left of them. I could easily shoot 3 times that much and there still remain charged batteries. Also, new information on the battery screen is really useful because you can see what the battery's serial number at all, so much easier to track.

So far I used 35 1.4 / L, 135 2 / L, 70-200 f2.8 / L, 50 1.4 and 100 2.8 Macro camera, and all this has done wonderfully. Do not miss the pop-up flash that my 40D since never so I used it, always throw my 580 EX II at the top when I need a flash.
