Jayesh Malukani is probably one of the young patients Muffazal Dr Lakdawala had to perform a sleeve gastrectomy surgery. Jayesh Malukani is a 17-year-old son, who studies in class XII. Jayesh all his life has harbored a strong passion for dance. Even a 180 kilogram frame can not prevent the teen from following his dream. Jaipur children auditioned for a TV dance show and was chosen too. However, it was not too long before the judges would decide to oust him that they thought that he was unable perform a number of steps because of his thick frame. Jayesh was so deeply touched by the whole episode that he eventually decided that he had to lose weight. Jayesh is affected by obesity by the time he was 11 years old. At such a tender age was Jayesh Turning now scales to 100 kg. Children just feels good about his life, when he was dancing like he had to put with taunts while in school.
Dr Lakdawala Muffazal initially refused surgery at his age given the boy. However, after taking the fact that young boy had already developed diabetes and hypertension, Dr. Lakdawala Muffazal reconsidered his decision and went ahead with surgery. Within four months the sleeve gastrectomy surgery Jayesh has already lost 42 kg. He is very proud of himself. Muffazal Dr Lakdawala is very much impressed with the progress made by Jayesh and amount of weight he lost after surgery. Dr Lakdawala Muffazal advises that the operation should only be offered as an option for those for whom this is a medical necessity. Sleeve gastrectomy involves procedures to reduce size of the stomach and 15% of its original size. A large part of the stomach is removed during an operation after the curve large. Surgery should ideally be performed on patients who are extremely obese and whose body mass index is 40 or more, where the risk of performing a gastric bypass or duodenal switch procedure is way too high. Jayesh is Dr Lakdawala Muffazal grateful for his new life and feels capable of trying a wide variety The dance steps. For the future, Jayesh Malukani plans to attend one more time on the same show, but with ambitions to win it.
